1970 Dodge Super Bee Additional Info:

Here is a very cool 1970 Superbee 383 4 speed car. Numbers matching engine and transmission (see pics). The exhaust mainfolds are orginal as is the driveline and rear end. Whats left of the paint is original. It has what I believe is the original 3:91 gears in it since that metal tag bolted to the carrier looks like it has never been removed. It has power steering and thats about it for options. The car had been sitting in the desert since 1984 when i bought it. The engine was rebuilt. It was started and ran for about an hour then driven aroud the block. All the brakes were replaced along with the wheel cylinders and the master cylinder and the rubber brake lines. It has a new gas tank and sending unit although the only gauge that works is the Alternator. The 383 torker and those classic mopar valve covers were in the trunk so i cleaned them up and used them.Dome light inside, brakelights, wipers and headlights work. The car has rust around the rear window, lower rear 1/4s, forward floorpans and trunk. It is missing the driver's side door and rear 1/4 glass. The frame, torsion bar crossmember and the rest of the chasis is great. It has a new complete TTI x pipe exhaust system (the chrome tips have not been installed). There is $2000 worth of correct Legendary Interior in boxes which includes kick panels, door panels, rear panels, package tray, headliner and front and rear seat covers. This is not some sloppy ridiculous "tribute" car but a solid, bench seat Superbee. As you can see from the pictures it is quite complete. The grills are very restorable, it has the front and rear license plate holders on it, the jack is in the trunk etc. I dont think the bumper has been taken off and it looks like its never been wrecked. The car starts, runs, shifts through all the gears and stops just fine. I would be remiss if I did not say it is with some regret that I am selling this car. There is a modest reserve.Buyer pays for shipping, I will assist with transport if necessary. The car must be paid in full within 7 days and of course it will not leave until the funds clear. Please do not bid on the car unless you can pay for it within 7 days. I can hold the car for a reasonable amount of time however it must be paid for within 7 days. Ask any questions

i have had some questions about the engine. The engine was completly rebuilt and balanced using KB Silvolite pistons, ARP rod bolts/head studs, Comp Cam spring lifter chain kit. The machinest calculated it to be just over 10.5 compression. New oil pump water pump starter distributer clutch flywheel 770 Street Avenger etc. It has been run about an hour and driver just around the block, it starts quickly. I would not go as far to say it is a fly in and drive home but its pretty close to that. Also, the car looks to have been sitting above the ground. The chassis and undercarrige is in very good condition with only surface rust. You can see in the last picture how the lower rear 1/4 has rusted. There is no such rust on both the front fenders.
