1972 Dodge Challenger Ralley Additional Info:

1972 Dodge Challenger. This is a rare 1 of 130 1972 Challengers made with a power sunroof and 1 of 62 made that was a ralley. In all, there were only 489 E bodies made with a sunroof between 1970 and 1972. The car is a 340, 727, ac, ps, pb 8 ¾ rear with 3:23 sure grip. This car came with just about every option you could get. I do have the original fender tags that match the cowl and the radiator support but do not have the build sheet. The motor and transmission are not the original however the motor is a date coded 72 that has been taken apart and resealed as it was in good condition. I have owned this car for over 13 years and when I originally bought it, it was nothing more than a shell. The car has been a project but still needs to be completed.

It does run and drive and most everything works. The ac components are missing from under the hood along with the rear defogger. The sunroof does not currently work however, I have located an original switch. The interior will still need to be finished along with other odds and ends. The seats and door panels came from another car and the rear seat and door panels were died black. I have taken a picture of the only rust that I know it has which is on the bottom of the front fenders where they attach. I do not know of any other rust on the car. I have also taken pictures of the trunk lid as it does not fit quite correctly. The paint job is a decent paint job and actually looks very good. A few chips that I have found but overall is real nice. There are some trim pieces and emblems that are missing and will be needed to finish the outside. Like I said it is a project, but you can drive it while you work on it. It does need some tuning to get it running correctly as the carburetor on it is way to big. I do not want to get rid of it, but my family is more important. It is an FE5 red with white vinyl top car. Ask for Jason 706-888-0586. The car is in the Phoenix AZ area.
