1947 Dodge single wheel one ton with 9 foot bed. Original drivetrain. Inline flat head 6 cylinder with 4 speed manual transmission. Starts right up cold or hot. No smoke. New brakes and lines. Stops really well for manual drums. Parking brake works. New exhaust. Drives straight down the road. New 10 ply tires. New fuel tank. Bed sides and tailgate appear to be new. All glass is good. Doors shut nicely. Body is very straight. Paint I would call a 5 footer not show quality. Very good parade truck or driver. Old man restoration. All lights work including turn signals. Fuel gauge does not work due to the new tank having a 12 volt sending unit and the truck is still 6 volt. Also the speedometer does not work. Heater and fan works. Appears to not have had any rust in the body. Only evidence of rust is the battery box and the windshield frame. It is a really clean and unique truck. Truck is ready to hop in and drive to Sonic tonight. It is 69 years old so remember they drove a little different back then. As with most old vehicles it does have a small seep from the engine when it sets over night. $500 non refundable payment due within 24 hours of auctions end. I have a clear Missouri title in my name. I can also provide a bill of sale. It will pass inspection. Lots of questions on if you can drive it home. Yes I think the truck will be fine. It holds good oil pressure and never gets hot.
