1942 Dodge Power Wagon Additional Info:

Ww2 1942 command car for sale wc56 with added winch bumper. It looks like a wc57 command car . Estimated delivery date of sept 16 1942. The frame serial number is81574923This is the only number I could locate on the vehicle besides motor number. I believe the body was reworked/repaired in the past in areas. It's in fairly good condition with very little rust. It has some rust along the rear seat head rest area.Floors look solid as does body. It does show signs of pitting on certain parts. Winch will need rebuilding. It currently runs/drives and stops. The motor runs very well miles unknown. Runs smooth and does not smoke. It's equipped with the zenith carb/greasable water pump/ and has many early original parts. The 4x4 works, wiring looks good, gauges are not correct but close and two gauges do not work.It currently has a wc63 transfer case and windshield installed. It comes with the original wc56 transfer case and wc56 windshield frame. The brakes work great but will need wheel cylinders (they leak out over time). It will need universals on one or more driveshafts and new tires. This vehicle is not restored or in perfect shape. It will need a good going through prior to being considered road worthy or driven further then around the block. The seats are in great shape and the rear also has the original style armrests. Has the original tools in pioneer rack/ front map table/fire extinguisher/oil can/Jerry cans etc. It comes with a wc56 transfer case/wc56 windshield/winch cable/half shafts/passenger fender/spare rim-tire. This vehicle was a barn find. The gentleman tinkered with it over 30 years. He would drive it around the farm once in a while. It will need some work but it's a very rare vehicle. They only made 710 wc57. I got it in a package deal and have only replaced the battery and parked it. I know willys jeeps but not much about this vehicle. I need the room back and do not plan on restoring or working on this vehicle . I would love for someone to bring it back to life. It will be sold with a bill of sale only no title. These bring $40,000 plus restored.
