You won't find another automobile this beautifully restored and it's rare to even see one here in the USA . It's a rare rare automobile just being a convertible . Dodge only produced a low total of 2000 convertibles for 1954 and 701 were the Indy pace cars . Not many exist today if any . Jerry Lewi, Dean Martin and Roy rogers were honored to show off the 54 dodge pace car at the 1954 indiannapolis 500 race . This 54 dodge convertible is my personal car and I restored it from the ground up with very little help. Took a few years, but everything was gone through and restored with precision right down to every nut and bolt. I've been asked to enter the dodge at a few concours eligance shows and was happy to participate with honors.You'll be proud to show this beauty off for sure as I did. But it's time for me to let her go so someone else to enjoy my accomplishment. I'm moving onto other interests in my life . Here are some details on the car :It's a True REAL pace car . The 241 hemi has been professionally rebuil, every moving part in the engine has been replace or refurbished. While apar, I installed 10:1 forged high compression piston, port and polished the head, one step up in the hydralic ca, rebuilt the stock 4 bl carb . I have 10k in the engine alone . This engine has close to 200 hp now. The powerflite 2 speed trans shifts smooth a silk , the rear end with 354 gear ratio is quite as a church mouse. All the brake components have been refurbished or new  , new gas tank sender which is accurate . all gauges work in the dash along with wipe, radio and heater and defrost motor, all lights/ directionals works beautifully even the reverse light works. It has the correct size www coker bias tires along with correct 1954 "Motor Rim "spoke wheels . Does not have power steering or brakes . newly plated Chrome bumpers and accessorie, Pot metal is perfect thru the car The Single exhaust is quit, The top is electric not manual and has a new Canvas convertible top with clear plastic back glass. The body paint is ppg deltron base coat and several coats of clea, and laser straight , paint finish is smooth and shines like mad !The cooling system runs cool as a cucumber . I had it out this past summer on a 92* day and it ran perfect. Goes down the freeway like a dream with unbelievable Hemi power to pass cars. It is a powerfite 2 speed tranmsmission .This is a Solid Rust free California destination car all its life.
