1949 Dodge Power Wagon Additional Info:

You are looking at a 1949 WDX B-1 Power Wagon First Series. This Power Wagon has the original 230 cubic-inch Flathead six with a 4 speed transmission. This truck runs excellent, the transmission and running gear all sound good and quiet. We rebuilt the carburetor, replaced all the gas lines and cleaned out the gas tank. There is also a new exhaust system, new brake shoes, cylinders, master cylinder, and axle seals. We replaced the heater hoses and put in new coolant. All the lights have new wiring and work good. New ignition switch. The truck carries 40lbs of oil pressure, we just recently put all fresh oil in the boxes as well as the motor. The driveline also has new U-joints.

We installed a brand new metal frame bed that is 8 foot long and 80 inches wide, with brand new 2x6 flooring and new 1x4 sides with new weather-treated wood. We painted the bed and frame before it was put on, very nice and solid, made to fit this truck. As you can see in the picture, this truck has a Garwood 20-30 ton power take-off winch, Model# 211512 Serial# 82095. The winch works good!

This Power Wagon has an amateur paint job, showing small dents and scratche, but is very presentable. 95% rust free and no bondo. New stock floorboards, mirrors, and brackets. The windows roll up and down nicely, with new door glass. The front windows are cracked. The window frame still rolls in and out. The rear window has a new seal. New black upholstery seat, we are also including a new center section of the headliner, but missing the other pieces and a side molding.

The paint on the door frames and dash is still original. The horn works and has a new 6-volt battery. The oil and amp gauges are working, but the gas, temp and speedo are not.

This truck is set up for rear dual wheels, we have the extra wheels and lug nuts. The tires are good and fairly new, they measure 265-75-16 Dick Cepet Mountaincat radial Mud and snow tires, this Power Wagon rolls along nicely on these tires.

This Power Wagon doesn't appear to have been used very heavily. The door latches aren't worn out, it starts easy every time, and drives around just fine. This is not a restored vehicle, but everything has been addressed to make it a nice drivable Power Wagon you can still use and not worry about scratching, even though it still looks pretty good! These are hard to find in this condition, selling at a nice reserve, thanks for looking! Call Jack for more details 208-870-7266 or 208-888-1240 (Mountain Time USA)
