1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Additional Info:

Well here is your chance to own a piece of Mopar history. Keep in mind this is a unrestored mostly original 1970 Challenger R/T Survivor. The high impact Hemi Orange Paint is original. Car is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and only has 72,500 actual miles. Car was in the Carlisle all Chrysler Nationals Survivor tent and scored very well. Rebuilt numbers matching drivetrain Matches the cowl, radiator support and trunk lip. Car does have a few upgrades such as 4 wheel SSBC disk brakes, Quick Fuel carb and Edelbrock intake, Mopar rear leaf springs, and Mopar Electonic ignition. These items are bolt on and the original carb, intake and brakes go with the car if desired. The 383 was rebuilt mostly stock with a mopar purple camshaft added. Very nice factory style exhaust with mufflers and resonators. The front end and steering box were rebuilt for drivability. Very nice interior with the exception of a crack in the dash and crack beside shifter on console. The body wears its original paint with minor dents and dings, but no major damage. The body is all original and almost 50 years old and rust free. The car does have some small imperfections, one is the passenger front fender, another is the front valance, ans the edge of the trunk lid. At one time in the car's history there was a plate added to the trunk for support so a trailer hitch could be installed. The vinyl top and the glass are original and show nice. Car has been documented very well and has numerous receipts for parts and repairs over the years. Fender tag is still in place and the buildsheet in good condition. Car comes with the factory rally wheels NOT the Cragars shown in the pics. If you have been looking for a good E body Survivor to enjoy and only gain value this car is it. These cars are getting harder to find. As the saying goes you can restore a car 100 times, but they are only original once. Car has NO RESERVE, but is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Bid to win as the car will sell after the first bid.
