1970 DODGE CORONET R/T HEMI, vin WH2360AD4218, incredible build! Superlatives don't do justice for the work done to this car. Car was originally Coronet 440. She was treated to complete makeover, full body-off restoration and transformation. Complete paint (code F8) inside and out. Complete interior redo with Legendary Products. Was a bench seat car, now has 1970 OEM Coronet high-back buckets that were found and completely restored with new hardware, cushions and upholstery. Interior was initially completely(F8) green. Seating done in black, with new seat-belts in black, carpet and padding replaced in black as well. Also added original style three-spoke wood grain steering wheel. Car has a complete hemi drivetrain. Motor was built by Arrington Hemi performance, Block is part number P5153942, Chrysler performance parts, cast heads, hydraulic cam, rebuilt carbs with dual 660 center squirters, shoemacher clutch, billet flywheel, mini starter, OEM 4 speed hemi transmission that was NOS when installed and a Dana 60 rearend with 354 gears with disc brakes (yes, new four wheel disc brakes!). New steel wheels (5) and hub caps. New Redline radial tires, not polys. All new or re-chromed OEM R/T call-outs and emblems. New rear glass. Chrome bumpers and brite-work beautifully re-chromed or polished with no pitting. Motor complete and new a couple of years ago, freshened recently with all fluid replacements, plugs, date code correct wires, gaskets, new main seal, steering gear box resealed, new OEM power steering pump. I'm sure we're missing something about the car, but we're guessing you get the picture. The project was to build / match the 1970 Coronet R/T Hemi that sold for over $300,000 at Mecum Auction,Lot S107Harrisburg 2014July 24-27. This is an opportunity for someone to own the "rare of the rare" good luck bidding. If you have any questions or need any additional pictures feel free to call Chuck or Scott at 281-530-6000. Car is stored indoors under 3m film. Auction would only let me put up twenty-four pictures. There is a complete thumb drive of pictures that will come with this car.
