1969 Dodge Cgarger Daytona clone with 5.7 modern hemi. Many thousands recently spent on this clone which was completed in 2012. Great car which runs well and turns heads everywhere it goes. Just had new custom headers and exhaust along with a full Hotchkis suspension system at great expense.Wing nose are Show Cars theses are molded from Janak pieces take some finishing but are thick and Z bars are Show Cars
Headlight assembly’s, buckets & pivots are Knifley made from steel, good quality
Headlights are vacuum operated like the originals (and just like originals work when they want too!)
Rear window plug is from fabed from Goyette pieces
Wing has correct floor uprights, wing washers and brackets are welded to the floor like the originals
Interior is standard, black door pads, carpet, headliner and upper trim Charger trim pieces came from P & G classics in NB, I have two new Cipher front seats and rear daytona seat cover that can go with the car by separate negotiation along with a very nice Nardi wheel that I have not got round to installing.
New at restoration,AMD quarter panels, one piece floor, taillight panel and trunk lid. Lid went directly to Mike Goyette (Taunton Mass.) to be cut and have the end cap installed, Fits nicely Trunk hinges are Goyettes. Car was professionally assembled by Hamilton’s Garage, Cordova, ON who specializes in Mopar restorations. Engine is out of a 2005, 1500 Ram had around 15000 on it. F.A.S.T (Fuel Air Spark) electric fuel system. Wiring harness and computer came from Street & Performance, Arkansas along with their technical support in the connecting of all the parts. Engine was installed by Hamilton’s Garage, Cordova ON. Schumacher mounts and a Milodon oil system. Gas tank was new as well at restoration
I am only listing this as a dream car of mine has came on the market and I reserve the right to remove it.
