1955 Dodge Other Pickups Additional Info:

I have for sale a 1955 Dodge Town Panel. It has a 305 small block in it out of a 1994 Silverado. Intake has been changed and is now carburetor. 700r4 transmission out of a 1988 Chevy pickup. Aluminum griffin radiator with electric fan out of a V8 Jeep with heavy duty cooling package. New radiator hoses, thermostat, serpentine belt and one-wire alternator. Has 10-gallon aluminum fuel cell mounted on the frame rails. Truck is on original frame and has original front axle under it with Ford 8-inch rear end. Disc brake upgrade on the front with all new calipers, rotors, hoses, and pads. Rear is drum with all new shoes, hardware kit, wheel cylinders and brake lines all the way around. Has power brakes with a master cylinder and booster from an s10. Stops excellent. All four corners have new shocks and u-bolts. Has a 21-circuit Keep It Clean wiring harness with bright and dim headlights, turn signals, front and rear parking lights, and brake lights. Temp gauge and oil pressure gauge are aftermarket and function and light up. New headlight switch and dimmer switch. Also has 12v cigarette lighter/charging port. Paint is an old-school patina look with clear coat and metal flake on the bumpers and dash. Original steering wheel, column, and gear box. Steers great and handles well. Runs straight and does not dart all over the road. I've had this up to 70 mph with no problems. Exhaust is fairly simple with down pipes and two turbo thrush mufflers. New u-joints on both ends of driveshaft. Mr. Gasket floor shifter. Front windshield and both doors have cracked glass. Rear has one solid piece that's foggy around the edge and the other back glass is plexiglass. 4 brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them. Has Atlas port-a-walls. Edelbrock carb freshly rebuilt. All new fuel lines. Bench seat out of a 1994 Silverado. This panel is nothing fancy and it is what it is. It's a neat old hot rod that runs and drives good. Don't expect a best of show or showroom quality car. Body has some dents and dings in places but still looks good.
