1977 Dodge Other Brougham Additional Info:

A true SURVIVOR 1977 Dodge Royal Monaco Brougham. Just a bit over 28,000 miles! Believed to have every factory option that was available in 1977. SURVIVOR in the sense that it wears it's ORIGINAL paint, even the factory painted on accent stripe!! It's not perfect but it can only be original once. No restoration of any kind has been done to the car! You're seeing it in it's original state. Here's a list of the car's factory options:
440 Cubic Inch 4-barrel V8
Factory AC
Tilt and telescopic wheel
Power windows AND locks
Power driver's seat
Power brakes and steering
AM-FM Stereo with factory 8-track
Power trunk release
Chronometer clock
Front vent windows
And more that I/m sure I'm forgetting!!
The car runs and drives great. The car starts easily and sounds good. If you're familiar with Mopar big blocks you know that they seem to have had an issue with valve covers being leaky. Ive tightened them down, they are ok for awhile but probably need to be replaced. The ARE the original valve cover gaskets! The car also smokes a bit when first started diagnosed as valve guide seals. All in all these are minor problems easily corrected. The car has a BRAND NEW set of tires on it. The body is very straight with some minor surface rust in the wheel well paint. Again, very minor. The paint is dull in a few places with what would be normal for a car that is 40 years old!! The road wheel in the trunk is bent and the fourth wheel is missing. Dual exhaust has a nice rumble to it!!
Summing it up....the car is very solid, complete and nice for a 40 year old car. The car hasn't been restored so it is NOT PERFECT!! What you see is what you get that is being sold in AS-IS condition. What a great BLUES BROTHERS tribute car? It's not a '74 like the movie car but it is like the Illinois State patrol cars featured in the movie.
