1994 Dodge Dakota SLT Additional Info:

I bought this 94 Dakota from my grandpa a couple years ago when I wrecked my 95 Dakota. When he owned her she was his show truck and I have driven her daily. This is about as nice of a first generation Dodge Dakota as you'll find, it's a trophy winner. Folks come up to me and want to talk about it almost as much as my '49 Ford. My grandpa owned it for about 6 years before me. I'm selling to buy a newer truck, nothing against these midsize trucks I'm just ready for something different. Mileage will go up, is my daily driver.
Good stuff:NO RUST now or everNo wrecksTonneau coverNew bumper, POR15'd on the insidePaint shines like newFactory "Dodge" stamped bedlinerSpotless interiorTinted windowsNew solid back window (tinted). Old one didn't leak, I just liked the solid look betterSweet 90's wood grain dashNever used trailer hitchNew tailgate, paint shines like the rest of the paint, noticed the bumper reflectionCold A/C, hot heat
Not so good stuff:There's a little clunk in the rear end if you let off the gas at higher RPMs, I've read this is common with 90s Mopar V8 drive trainsTranny slips when cold (standard Mopar)Mechanic said it could use new steering wheel bearings, like I mentioned I drive it daily and on the highway without problemsAbout a 6" circle of clear coat starting to peel on roof
New within the last year:Regular oil changes with 10w30Cooper trendsetter tires, only a few months old, new alignmentWater pumpBall jointsIntake gasket, preventativemaintenance (Fel-pro gaskets, no worries) (Notice excellent oil pressure)Coolant flush/new coolantControl arm bushingsTransmission serviced (not flushed)Full tune-up (Plugs, wires, cap, rotor)All 4 shocksFuel pump and filterAll new speakers/head unit (blue tooth, aux, CD)Remote start and Keyless (Viper brand)OEM Headlights to replaced old fogged ones
If you're still reading you must be slightly interested. The miniram is not perfect, but its close and you don't see many clean, square-body Dakotas on the road. Trophies come with her, if you want them. Would like to see her go to a good home.
