1968 Dodge Charger R/T Additional Info:

Car has a 1965 Nascar Race Hemi engine formerly owned by Petty Enterprises. Engine built by Bob Repine (Hemi Thrasher fame) with 1964 "K" iron heads (for street use), 7.5:1 slugs, 8-71 BDS blower 13% overdriven, bored to 502". Crower forged crank, Crower .570 lift cam, & Crower rods.Topped off with a pair of 750 Dominator carbs ( I also have the pair of 1150 Dominator carbs that were on car when shown at Mopar Nationals in 2000). 727 T-Flite with 3500 stall ATI convertor. Narrowed Dana 60 with 4:10 gears, back halved, coilover/four link suspension. Fiberglass hood & front fenders, front to back roll cage, parachute off the car now for street use. Candy Burgundy paint, rear wheel wells stretched 5". Interior has hand carved foam covered in gray & lavender tweed cloth. Mopar Action Editior's choice at the 1997 Chryslers at Carlisle gathering. Published Mopar Collectors Guide Dec 1996, Mopar Action April 1998, Hemi Muscle Annual 2001. Car has been in my collection since Feb 2001.
