1956 DeSoto Additional Info:

She's Perfect!
This car has been in the family for over 25 years and drives like a dream. I think the best way to describe her would be as a daily driver that will turn heads wherever you go, he is complete, nd she could be a restoration.
This is 1 of only 8,475 produced and there are very few in existence. The odometer reads 74,616 and that could be original. The Sportsman came stock with the push button powerflight 3 speed transmission, ower windows, ower brakes, nd much more. The engine is a 330 cu in 5.4L V8 Hemi with 255 hp and she's smooth with an electronic ignition (I have the original points and condenser). New tires.
What else can I tell you about the car? She's perfect for her age! She drops a little oil but I think she's just marking her territory. She was repainted once years ago and while not perfect she's still a stunner from any angle and turns heads. Some of her chrome is pitted, he interior stainless steel is in pretty good condition, he exterior stainless steel is in good condition with the exception of a few dings (look over the rear passenger fender) and the upholstery is due for replacement but the original upholstery is in the car which is good the pattern. The radio turns on but no sound. Temperature gauge is not working. Driver's door glass is cracked but I have replacement glass with the factory green tint. No major parts are missing. . . in fact I can't think of anything that is missing.
My Father considered this one of his daily drivers and she was always garaged where he lived in Oregon. Her body is in great shape and there are no signs that she was ever in a accident. As for drivability a little over a year ago I drove her from Corvallis, regon to Phoenix, rizona and it was a blast!
I’m happy to answer any questions and serious buyers are welcome to look at the car or send out an appraiser. How rare is the 56 2dr FireFlite Coupe? I searched all of the eBay records and cannot find one that has ever sold.

What more can I say? She's beautiful, are, nd drives like a dream.
