1975 Datsun Z-Series Additional Info:

1975 Datsun 280Z, purchased in August 2017 from the original owner. I have all original paperwork associated with this vehicle including the original Datsun dealership sales tag from 1975, and all original owner's manuals. Also have records of a Nissan remanufactured engine installed in '87. I used this vehicle as my daily driver for 2.5 years for a short commute until earlier this year when I started working from home.
The Z has been well taken care of and garage-kept, and I have had regular upkeep and maintenance done by a Datsun Z mechanic/ specialist. It's a joy to drive. Without fail, I always get a thumbs-up as I drive around. The body of the car is in nearly perfect shape, sleek and shiny - fresh paint job in 2018. Wheels are American Racing. The black leather interior and black carpeting is all original and is in fantastic shape. The only aesthetic flaws are a cracked dashboard and one small rip in the driver's side seat, near the seat belt. A/C runs well. The louvers on the back hatch are removable - see photos that show that back window with and without the louvers.
Along with regular upkeep and maintenanceby a Datsun Z mechanic/ specialist, in the 2 years I've owned this vehicle, I've had some notable work done:- full body paint job to match original paint color "cocoa brown" - a champagne color.- installed new audio speakers- installed "RetroSound" modern radio with a classic appearance which enables Sirius, Bluetooth, and AUX input, as well as microphone installed on driver's side visor for hands-free Bluetooth phone calls.- new alternator, starter, brake pads and shoes, fuel hoses, fuel pump, fuel filer, water pump, air filter, fan clutch, rebuilt distributor, and more.
