"Barn Find" Very Early 10th Anniversary280ZX 5 Speed one of the first Number 53 out of 3000 1 Owner 60k Original Miles Untouched for 27 years!!! This Car is a Time Capsule!!! The original TITLE says NEW! Sold New in 1980 By Jerry Rome Datsun In MA (sticker still on the bumper) Then in 1993 with just 59,970 Miles on it the original owner traded the car in to a local dealership. The owner of the dealership drove the car a few times and then put the car into storage with his other toys and there it sat parked with just a week ago when is was taken out due to the owner selling the building. The datsun hadn't seenthe light of day for almost 27 years! How you see the car is exactly how it came out of storage! Its a time capsule! The interior is 100% original and near mint condition dash has no cracks, driver seat has a new stitchesthat came loose but leather is not ripped (east fix and the headliner is sagging alittle. The exterior also looks good for its age, over all very solid the front fender lip looks to have some work done in the late 80s that need to be cleaned up. The under side of the car looks very solid just typical surface stuff, the underside was rust proofedby the dealer when sold new (the sticker is still in the rear quarter window. Under the hood is untouched and also all original. I figured people would ask so I hooked up a battery real quick to see if the car would crank and to my amazementthe car started right up, only ran it for a few seconds due to oil gas and fluidsthat all need to be changed out! Im sure the whole car needs to be gone over but cant imaginethere are many early production 10th anniversaryZs out there with these low miles and only 1 owner.
