1974 Datsun Z-Series Additional Info:

I present my 1974 Datsun 260z coupe in Atlantic Blue over black interior. The numbers matching engine makes 162HP with the highly regarded dual SU-Therapy carburetors replacing the original Hitachi carbs (which are considered boat anchors), paired with a super precise shifting 5-speed manual transmission. My car has larger exhaust pipes so the engine can breathe, exiting to a Borla muffler. I can honestly say this car sounds like a 1960's era Ferrari (check out my exhaust video clip on my website).

I have listed the upgrades and new parts below on my 260z.
Nissan N42 head - new valve seals, new steel valve seats, new intake and exhaust valves, higher compression
Crank - balanced and polished
Block - new main bearings, new rod bearings, new motor mounts, new timing gear set, new head bolts (turbo), new oil pump, new rod bolts (ARP), new rings, new spark plug wires (Magnacore 8mm), new water pump, new thermostat, new temperature sending unit, new oil pressure sending unit
Transmission & clutch - 5 speed, ultra-light Y70 flywheel, new clutch m/c, new slave cylinder
Suspension - new Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings, new shocks, new springs
Brakes - Rear disk brake upgrade, stainless steel brakes lines
Wheels & tires - new Konig Rewind 16", new Sumitomo ultra-high-performance all-season tires 205/55R16
Exterior - Refurbished fuel tank (inside and out), new gas tank sending unit
Interior - new sound proofing (Fat Mat), new seat foams (top & bottom), original oem wood steering wheel, new horn pad
Electrical - 12v electronic ignition, new headlight switch, new 60A alternator with internal regulator, upgraded wiring with AGU fuses (replaces fusible links), SPDT relays on headlights and indicator lights
Every engine bay clamp and bracket was CAD plated for OEM look. Wiper brackets were removed and CAD plated (under the cowl).
I am selling my car as I am soon losing garage space for it.
