1970 Datsun 240z Series One - built 1/1970 Very Low VIN #

1970 Datsun Z-Series Additional Info:

I have an original California 1970 Datsun 240z S30 Series One with a low vin number and numbers matching engine.
As the story always goes, I purchased it several years ago and it was going to be a restoration project. But life, too many other projects, too little time, and a possible move in my future has forced me to let it go to the next enthusiast or collector.
She looks rough from 10 feet but for a “barn find / storage survivor” she’s in great shape very little rust thanks to being stored in the desert. The rust is located on the passenger side by the gas door, and in the rear hatch / spare tire area due to a bad seal. I have a spot weld drilled complete spare tire sheet metal taken from another Z that will be included for its eventual restoration.
The engine does not run but turns over by hand and matches the engine bay vin tag. The transmission goes into all gears but like the engine, the running condition is unknown.
Hopefully this finds a new home with a proper collector or enthusiast that can return it to 1970 factory new.
