1972 Datsun Z-Series Additional Info:

Beautiful unmolested 1972 240Z survivor. This is a two owner car that has been off the road for 3 decades! Repainted in its beautiful original color of "112 Yellow" aka "Lime". Very nice but not "show quality". Minor ding on passenger door above the handle that can easily be removed by paintless dent guy.All new window seals and door seals (some old glue residue is present in a few pics but I'll work on getting it fully removed before car is picked up). When I found the car, it had been stored in a garage untouched for nearly 30 years after the second owner lost interest in it. I bought it and brought it back to life. What I loved about the car was its rare original color, and how solid it was. Being stored inside, untouched, in a dry climate for 30+ certainly saved this beauty! I believe it was always a garaged car. Solid original frame and floors. Factory undercoating still in place. Very nice original interior considering it's age! Speaker holes cut in door panels (speakers and radio are gone). Dash has a cap. Car has only 70k original miles! I converted to brand new Weber carbs for better performance, but original SU carbs will be included along with air cleaner. Manual choke lever moved under dash, but original that goes in center console is included if you want to convert back. Fires up with first blip of key. No smoke. A few extra parts included as well. This has an excellent running, super quiet stock engine. Tranny shifts very well. Brakes are a little soft. I've bled them but the rear drums aren't adjusting. Car needs very little to be perfect. Can easily be taken to the next level and be a show winning Japanese classic! Ask all questions before bidding. I'm a private seller thinning my collection. I collect and restore old air cooled Porsche's, but my first car in college was a '73 240Z and I've always had a soft spot for them. All sales final. Zero feedback bidders must contact me prior to bidding or you will be cancelled and blocked. Too many games played in the past. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
