RARE 1974 DATSUN 260Z Z 260 RUNS DRIVES PROJECT 145K MILES!!!!

1974 Datsun Z-Series 260Z Additional Info:

CAR IS LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE, NC. Second owner, selling for a friend. CLEAR TITLE. 1974 260Z (late edition, big bumper, signals in grill). 4 Speed. Runs and drives on auxiliary gas tank and battery (NEITHER OF WHICH ARE INCLUDED IN AUCTION) (SEE VIDEO OF ENGINE RUNNING), but only e-brake working at the moment. No engine leaks, engine holds temperature, trans operates in all gears, shifts well, clutch good. Mechanically well maintained. Carbs rebuilt. I bled the front brakes and they worked a little. Just need back brakes to be bled and will probably hold.
PASSENGER SIDE BATTERY BOX/ T/C ROD /SUBFRAME area is solid as can be. The owner left intact the original battery tray and drain tube, so this one was saved from destruction in this crucial and EXPENSIVE TO FIX area. Radiator Support/Frame area solid also. Floors do have rot however, SEE PHOTOS. Body is in bad condition, lots of fiberglass repairs in lower sections and some other sections here and there. Under battery box shelf is a small hole towards inner fender which does not affect structural integrity. Front springs have been replaced with yellow colored aftermarket brand. Not sure what brand.
Interior has nice headliner and all plastic panels present. They are not broken, faded and damgaed like most. Door panels fair, seats fair. Dash cracked of course. CARPET WAS REMOVED TO VERIFY CONDITION OF FLOORS. All glass is good. Sunroof is aftermarket and actually is not leaking...but you know it might.
This would be a great play toy, as lots of bodywork would need to be done. If it were me, I would simply patch floors, get brakes working and have a really neat daily driver as passenger subframe area is solid. Tires hold air but are dry. Nice wheels. All lighting except headlights working. There are multiple missing fuses at the fuse box, so this may be an easy fix. I am not an electrical person. Wipers and heater fan not working. tachometer not working, but just needs wire run to coil. Oil pressure sender is missing and has been plugged. New one can be installed for $15.00 and gauge will work.
I HAVE THE LICENSE PLATE PANEL THAT GOES BETWEEN THE REAR TAIL LIGHTS AND WIPER ARMS. THERE IS NO CONSOLE FOR THE CAR. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. Car is mostly complete however, as it was parked by second owner a few years ago due to health reasons.
