Fully-Restored Gray/Gray Citroen 2cv Charleston

I am very proud to offer this gorgeous, fully-restored gray/gray Citroen 2cv Charleston for sale. This color combination is one of the most elegant of all of the special-edition Charlestons. The prices of the limited-edition 2cvs, like this Charleston, have skyrocketed over the last few years, so you'll not only have one of the rarest, greatest looking cars in the US, but you'll have a great investment, too.

This particular car was meticulously restored over a period of nearly six months, and was *completely* disassembled - down to every last bolt! Most of the car is practically new, as the restoration was finished just last year. Work included new floorboards, new engine, new shocks, new seats, new canvas top, new mirrors, new bumpers, new interior liner, new tires, professional paint job, and just about everything else you can think of. Since the car was completed it has been driven less than 1,000 miles.

Not only does the car look like new, but it drives that way, too. The motor is the best that Citroen ever put into the wonderful 2cvs, with 602cc displacement and dual barrel carburetor, coupled with front disc brakes for the best stopping power. Given the cost of gas, it's great to know that you can cruise around in this 2cv at normal US highway speeds (top speed of over 70mph) while still achieving over 50-60mpg!

The canvas top can roll all the way back to transform the car into a convertible for all 4 passengers, and can be opened from the inside of the car, even while travelling at slow speeds!

All lights, switches and instrumentation panels work perfectly and are original.

The car passed the rigorous French "controle technique" with a perfect score, which includes a 125-point inspection of all aspects of the car, including the entire brake system, emissions levels, fuel system, steering, seatbelt mounting points, all lights, oil leaks, suspension travel, bearing play, and lots more. The entire process takes approximately one hour, and is very, very thorough.

This spectacular car is already in the US with a normal, valid Ohio title. You do not have to worry about going through the customs clearing process or paying any hidden fees - the car is sold with a standard U.S. title which can be transferred to your name just like any other U.S. titled car.

Please do not hesitate to e-mail me with any questions you might have.

As you can see in my 100% positive feedback rating, all of which were for 2cvs, all of my buyers are delighted with their cars, as I only deal with the best of the best. I've literally inspecteds hundreds of 2cvs all over France in order to choose the select few that I import. I would be happy to supply references of several of my buyers upon request, some of whom have been driving their 2cv's for over ten years and still have the smile on their face only a 2cv can bring out!

You will find a number of pictures detailing the outstanding condition of the car below.
