Here is a unique opportunity to own a 1988 Conquest that has been rebuilt for street or even track use if needed. Over $5,000 in parts (not including labor) has been spent on this effort which ended in the Summer of 2015. Here is most (not all) of what was done: Includes spare hot tanked .040 engine block, crank, pistons, ost other parts to complete and spare automatic transmission*.

**IF YOU DO NOT NEED ANY OF THE ENGINE PARTS, LOCKS, TC. I WILL REDUCE THE PRICE TO $4,000.

  • Rear suspension was completely removed, e-rusted along with all brake shields and painted with 3 coats of black anti-rust paint.

  • Axle's removed and dismantled. CV joints were inspected, leaned, ubricated. New O.E.M boots and clamps installed.

  • Complete rear suspension upgrade with new poly bushings, ew D2 adjustable height and dampening suspension coil overs over all 4 wheels

  • New slotted and drilled rotors with new calipers and pads.

  • Complete 4-wheel alignment after suspension upgrade and new Kumo Performance front tires installed.

  • Drive shaft rebuilt with new carrier and balanced by Standard Driveshaft, nc.

  • All new genuine Mitsubishi shift link bushings installed and new shift placard replaced

  • All wheel wells cleaned and coated with 3 coats of 3M undercoat material

  • New Master brake cylinder and Vacuum boost cylinders installed.

  • New brake lines and complete brake flush with synthetic brake fluid.

  • Front end bushings replaced with new poly and all other steering components checked and were satisfactory.

  • New front wheel bearings and seals.

  • Gas tank boiled out and cleaned.

  • New Bosh high volume/pressure fuel pump

  • All new flex fuel lines and fuel filters.

  • New radiator and hoses

  • New transmission mount

  • Transmission checked out by Atomic Transmission and deemed good.

  • The Car itself: This car came out of NC and is straight and rust free except for 2 spots on the left rear quarter. One dime size and only surface and the other lower front which needs attention. Frame rails and floor completely solid. Car was repainted about 7 years ago and looks fine with a good black cloth interior and working auto restraining and lap belts. Trunk is excellent. Hatch, iper and de-fog good. Replaced the power antenna with original. Headlight mechanical works well as does the entire electrical system. Double Dim GPS/disk/stereo installed. Steering wheel replaced with better leather. Dash is in good shape. New front Kumo performance tires and very good Kumo rears. Replaced knox box, leaned fuse link connections and changed all wired fuses. Battery new and tray conditioned. New ground wires. To save weight the A/C was removed. The ABS was also removed as it is useless for an experienced driver. Overall a very nice car.

    Engine parts:

  • New O.E.M TPS ( not an after market)

  • Rebuilt Throttle Body, low tested stock injectors, ew injector clips, ensors, onnectors and wires where needed.

  • New TD06-20G Turbo built by Mikes turbo(ported)less than 100 miles on it.

  • Exhaust Manifold ported

  • New AEM A/F gage and sensor.

  • New (lifetime) starter

  • 1G MAS upgrade with K/N filter

  • New BOV

  • Electric cooling fans replaced with fan clutch and shroud

  • New OEM Throttle cable

  • Distributor checked out with new seal, ap/rotor, D silicone wires and Heat socks.
  • ENGINE: Newer engine was purchased last year which came with a new performance AMC Head from Spain with solid cam, RP head bolts, arger valves according to the machine shop. Ran well, owever the timing chain rail fractured leaving debris in pan and is now out of the car and dismantled. So now I have 2 blocks one hot tanked, oth .040. and the crank on one was hot tanked and needs finishing. Head checked and good! So you have almost 2 engines that can be rebuilt or put your own engine in*!

TRANSMISSION: The stock transmission was checked out by Atomic Transmission last summer. They replaced the filter and fluid. Transmission was rebuilt when I purchased the car (about 4 years ago) and the only issue with it was that the OD worked fine but could not be canceled. So, ou had an automatic 4-speed. That was fine, owever I purchased another transmission with torque converter that you can have rebuilt at your discretion.

Reason for Selling: Have 2 identical cars. The one I am selling was going to my Son. We were not able to complete it before he had to leave back to school so I gave him mine. I am too old for drifting, rack or fast.

Selling for 5K which is less than the hard costs I have in it and not including extensive labor or what the car originally cost... So I think this is a great opportunity for someone to make this car run without worrying about whats going on below or above if you know what I mean... Approx. 100 miles were on most of these new parts! Put your engine in or build what is here!

Possible Trade up or down for a Jeep/AWD/SUV/or? All questions will be answered in a prompt manner. Thanks for your consideration!
