1958 Chrysler Windsor Dartline Additional Info:

FOR SALE - 1958 Chrysler Windsor 4 door sedan. This car runs and drives, and is mostly original. The steering system has a leak, the oil pressure gauge doesn't work (I'm not sure why), the gauge glass is cracked in places, the floor pans in the front need replacing as well as the trunk pan, the rear quarter panels are rusted along the bottoms, the steering is loose and probably needs new tie rod ends, and the wheels currently on it are not original (they were replaced before I bought the car). All that being said, I still drive this car in town on occasion and she never fails to turn heads! Over the last three years I've repaired or replaced the following:-Generator was rebuilt-New master cylinder, rear wheel cylinders, brake pads, and the drums were turned-New gas tank put in this summer-NOS fuel pump installed last year-Carburetor fully rebuilt-New power steering pressure hose-Intake manifold gasket replaced
The push-button shifter works but doesn't start the car, I've wired in a separate starter button below the dash. The original carpets are all but gone, the seats are all present but need refurbishing, the weather stripping is original and needs to be replaced. This car needs more TLC than I can give it anymore, but it's not in so bad a condition you couldn't start cruising around town in it right away!
