1956 Chrysler New Yorker Additional Info:

This Red and White 1956 Chrysler New Yorker is an older restoration but a clean car that you almost never see nowadays. The car is powered by a 440 (7.2L) and comes with a nicely redone instrument panel with gauges and a mounted 1955 center slider shifter for its 727 automatic transmission. You can drive it with confidence since the cars’ wiring was completely redone and starts right up, and features an electronic fuel pump with manual dash switch, a new Edelbrock carb, aluminum radiator, fan clutch, chrome alternator, and much more. Also has newer rear air shocks and dual exhaust. These Chryslers were the epitome of luxury in the day and while there are lots of old Chevys and Fords running around this is a luxury model you rarely see. Has tons of chrome both inside and outside. This big beast is fun to cruise on the highway and take to shows. Also included are many spare parts such as a town and country tube radio, owners service manual, an all newly re-chromed front bumper (which was bought for $1595.00) and many more extras. Odometer shows 38000 miles plus, but the actual is unknown. This is not a perfect car but runs well, has solid body and floors and is an all-around very decent car for the money!Needs some work and TLC, has a small oil drip, and could use some chassis updates/tuning amongst other things. An excellent project car which really has show car potential and sold as-is. Paypal transaction only. Buyer to arrange pick up from the suburban metro Detroit area.
