Up for auction is a very nice, affordable semi-exotic, fun to drive and own convertible. The car is in very good condition, the interior is superb, almost like new, the soft top looks to never have been used. This car looks to have been garage kept most of its life. The car has the original owners manuals and original umbrella that fits in the compartment behind the seats. The leather smells fantastic and the carpets still have a like new shine. The car starts, runs, steers and stops as designed. The car has recently passed smog. The air conditioning works, so does the radio, power windows, seats and power mechanism that releases the tonneau cover and locks for the hard top. The passenger side door lock has power but has to be locked manually from the inside. The tires are like new. The car paint looks to be original with normal and expected minor chips/dings. The car is rust free and well kept.
The two items of note are that the odometer is not working, and a common issue with these engines are original factory valve stem seals that dry out, so if the car has been sitting a while you will get some valve stem seal exhaust smoke at start up that goes away with a little bit of driving.
The car is sold as-is and as equipped. However, you are welcome to come see and/or have the car inspected before the end of the auction. Payment is due within seven days of the end of the auction. California buyers and all in-state sales are subject to sales tax, doc., smog & lic. fees. In California, all vehicles over ten years old are sold miles 'exempt", the odometer on this vehicle is non-functional. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.
