For sale in our Detroit showroom is this head-turning 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. These split-bumper Camaros are becoming increasingly popular, so don't miss out on this chance to own this mean street machine! Following the success of the iconic 1969 Camaro, the second-generation Camaro had big shoes to fill, especially since a convertible option was no longer available, but this '70 was built to impress. If you're looking for a performance-built muscle car that is still a driver and show-worthy, then look no further than this beautiful 1970 Chevrolet Camaro. This Camaro was recently treated to a complete frame-off, rotisserie restoration, all original sheet metal is still on the car and was stripped to bare metal, and a monster of a motor which is the numbers matching 350 CID/360 hp, and as only been driven 1000 miles since! Coated in a bright Cranberry red with black stripes, this true Z/28 car will make you the center of attention at shows, but also packs a punch under the hood. Speaking of performance, this street machine has the numbers matching LT-1 motor that has been completely rebuilt with 202 heads, TRW domed top pistons, solid lifter cam, forged steel crank, winters aluminum intake, and a Holley 780 cfm carb and has plenty of power yet was built to enjoy as a driver even in stop-and-go traffic. Putting the power to the ground is a 1970 Muncie M22 "Rock Crusher" 4-speed manual transmission and continuing back, there is a custom driveshaft, leading to a 12-bolt Posi rear end with 3.31 gears, so if the stunning exterior doesn't get you enough attention, a nice smoky burnout will! Rolling stock consists of Yokohama high performance tires mounted on American Racing Torque Thrust wheels. On the inside, this car features black vinyl bucket seats (1970 was the only year to contain low-back bucket seats with headrests) which have been re-upholstered with original GM replacements, new carpet, new headliner, and the rest of the interior is original and in pristine condition. If you want a show car built as a performance machine, then don't miss out on this chance to own this piece of Motor City muscle.
