1985 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

Hello eBay! Up for sale is my 1985 Chevy Corvette. Beautiful looking and driving car. Just hit 87,000 miles and pulls hard. I purchased the car locally in 2013, and have enjoyed it thoroughly for 3 years, but like everything else, time to move on. Power windows, locks, mirrors and driver seat all work (passenger seat is manual). Heat works just fine. Clutch feels good, 4+3 Manual trans works just like it should, very cool feature. Car needs sway bar link on right rear. Unfortunately A/C does not work. I had it converted to 134a, and compressor worked great, blew ice cold for about a week, then all gas leaked out of the system. If you decide to fix it, I can attest that the compressor was functioning properly. The targa roof is the blue glass version, and goes on and off worry free. Still have original corvette tool. Sadly, like many others the roof is cracked in the center, and goes about halfway down glass. It never bothered me enough to replace it, mainly because the only days driving the car were spent with the roof off of course.
Under my ownership, I have replaced the following parts with quality replacements;
-Alternator
-Smog Pump
-Water Pump
-Radiator
-165 Degree Thermostat
-Headlight motors
-Cat converter delete
-Flowmaster mufflers
-Hood Release Cable
In addition, I replaced the power supply board on the instrument cluster using a re-designed board from BATEE, very high quality board I must say, (see last picture) as well as the lower temperature light bulbs for the cluster. Needless to say, you should never have a problem with the cluster again!
The ZR-1 wheels on the car are what you are getting. The front tires are beautiful Michelin Pilots in great shape, But the rear tires are very worn and need replacement. Wheels do have some nicks and scuffs, not perfect. On the good side, I am including the 4 original wheels all with excellent condition tires.
All in all, this is an awesome affordable sports car, wicked fun to drive, and wont hurt your bank account. This car is not a museum piece, but it looks and drives beautifully and gets compliments everywhere I go.
Feel free to ask me any questions about the car. Thanks for looking!
