1968 Chevrolet El Camino Additional Info:

I bought this car totallyrebuilt and it has run flawlessly for the entire time I have owned it. I've had the transmissionreplacedwith an upgraded performance turbo 400 and itshiftsperfectly. The AC compressor died a few years ago but I neverreplacedit. FYI...the 1968 El Camino is the only year you can tell an El Camino is a true SS from the VIN. Notbeforeor after. Look it up. In addition, this one comes with a number matching 350 HP 396. Nearly all of these came with the 325 HP motor. Comes with a 3 inch exhaust system and headers. It also has anextremelyrare, although not working, roll up tach in the middle of the dashboard. It has 16 inch american racing torque thrust wheels on it with new front tires. The paint is beautiful although not the original color. No dents or rust anywhere. It has acruising308 posi rear so you can drive it on thehighwaywith ease. It has factory front disc brakes. As you can see I've added after marketgaugesbecause they are more accurate. No issues with overheating as it has an aluminumradiator. It has an aftermarket radio with the speakers behind the seats. I still have the original AM/FM radio that came with the car. The odometer reads 17797 but the cable started screaming a month ago and I just disconnected it. I believe the odometer was new after the engine was rebuilt so it likely has 17779 mile on it since rebuild. I never take this car out unless it's nice out and never drive it in the Winter. I will assist with finding a shipper but transport if the buyers responsibility. I will deliver the car anywhere on Long Island for free. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
