1962 Chevrolet Corvette. 327ci Non-Fuelie. 4 Speed Manual. Fairly recent frame-on restoration. 6 to 7 year old paint still shines nicely and presents well with exception of 2 minor blemishes. A small bubble on the upper center of the hood (pictured) and a small crack above the passenger side rear bumper (also pictured). All the chrome and bright work have been restored. The weather stripping and window felt are also new. The factory hubcaps are in excellent condition and are on new 235-75-15 whitewall radials. The black vinyl top is new and the plastic window is crystal clear. The exterior of this car looks great! Inside is brand new as well. New black vinyl seats and door panels. New black carpeting and OE style floormats. Newly repainted black dash with an AM/FM cassette radio that fits the OE location without cutting of any kind. The trunk has also been redone with factory original panels and trunk mat. The 327 in this car isn't a numbers matching engine. It's believed to be a 63 vintage motor. The 4 speed tranny however is believed to be original. The exhaust sounds great with all new aluminized piping and factory manifolds. Has a nice mellow sound. The underside of this car is in equally good condition with all new shocks and driveline components. The front drum brakes have been converted to disc. The front end has been completely rebuilt. This is a gorgeous looking example of a C1 Vette. The 62's have long been heralded as the best of the C1's (53-62). Here's your chance to own a piece of Corvette history.
