1967 Chevrolet Camaro ss350 Additional Info:

I wanted a car like this since high school. This is the car I dreamt about. When I bought her she was in rough shape. The quarters were rusty and crunched. The glass was scratched and the windshield leaked. I have since gone through her making her what any kid in 1988 would have loved to take to the prom. I am selling her now because times have changed. This beautiful work of art that had a single man's income to support his high octane fix has become the garage relic of a married father who lives in a quiet suburb. I love this car and I would love to hold on to her forever but this is not fair. My kids love to go for a ride in her. I used to drive around the neighborhood when my son was little to get him to fall asleep. Something about that v-8 and headers would bring those hours of crying to a sleepy end. As much as I love her, this car needs to go to a new home. I want her to go to someone who will love her as much as I have and care for her just as well. She will be 50 next july.A quick list of the improvements include:Powerplant:ZZ4 crate motor with the 430 hp hot cam kit. Always garaged.New bumpers, wipers, trim moldings, etc. etc. etc.Front and rear spoilersInterior:Deluxe interior black with white accent.Carpet and headliner are 10 years old but not in bad shape.Handling:Competition Engineering Sway BarsPolyurethane bushingsSubframe connectorsSlide a Link Traction barsAir Shocks in the rearPerformance shocks in the front.Power steering. She runs and handles amazing. I built her to handle on the road course but never made it to a road course track. I have run her at a quarter mile drag strip where she has turned a 12.4 second run on street tires. Dismal 60 foot times because she is not set up to launch out the hole. I set her up to run a road course. She sounds good. She looks good. She drives good. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to drop everything and take off across country with her right now. She needs a new home with an appreciative owner who can take care of her. She has become impractical in my family situation and though I hate to see her go she deserves a new, loving owner.
Oh yeah, I've got receipts and a maintenance notebook and manuals to go with.
