1964 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

1964 Corvette Vette Stingray Hot Rod Muscle Chevy 1932 Ford

This is a 1964 Corvette. It’s been in the family for over 35 years. It has a rebuilt 327 engine, which has been detailed. It has a 4-speedmanual tranny with Hurst shifter. Anew frontsuspension kit has been installed as well as the rear suspension, u-joints etc. were rebuilt and it has newer exhaust. There is a set of aftermarket air shockson therear end and the front coils have been cut down to lower the front of the car. Somebelievethis Corvette is the lowest Corvette in the area, withouthard body or frame modifications or real air ryde. The car can be easily put back to stockheight. The undercarriage has beenstripped of paint andrepainted/detailed butthebodyhas not technically beenoff the frame. The interior is all black button and tuck including the headliner and door panels. Carpet is a little sun bleached but is black in color with a good stock storage area bin behind seats. The dash has no cracks and looks great. Stock radio and clock work as does the lights, turn signals etc. The battery gauge needs repaired as well as the driver inside door opener. The car was originally red from the factory. It was painted black for approximately 20 years andwas shownat several indoor car shows, so the body IS straight. Thecar has been drivento outdoor car shows in recent years, in suede purple. It has about 20,000 miles on the rebuilt motor/rear end etc., thenumbers do not match, but the car has beengaraged and babied, never setting outside. The window glass are good. There is NO rust on the frame and I see no cracks in the body as everything was repaired in the past. Over its life time the car has been redone third times, so it’s pretty solid. The car is now in flattened purple paint that has a satin look. It could be enjoyed as is and receives many looks, or it could be repainted any color ‘veryeasily’because there is no clear coat on the car to sand down. Door jams and fire wall are black and are showable. The car was taken to ‘one’ Good Guys Event and with the flattened purple paint, it was chosen as one of the cars to be in the hard copy eventmagazine. The car can be shown “as is” and still attracts a lot of attention because it’s so different. Most have never seen purple flattened paint on a mid year Corvette. As the articlesaidin the Good GuysMagazine, . . .”…dare to bedifferent with their suede 1964 Corvette.”(will consider trades)

I will consider best offer or a trade for something koo, customs, hot rods, Corvettes, Mopar(what do you have to trade-send pictures), or I would consider something newer to drive to work on a daily bases likeautomatic Corvette, Camaro, Mopar etc. I also collect Mobilgas, Mobiloil items (gas pumps, signs) that would be considered as part of a trade. If you have specific questions feel free to call 479-644-6993

Car is sold "as is" with no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for pickup and shipping. The car is for sale locally and I retain the right to end the auction early. A $1000 non refundable deposit is required via Paypal within 24 hours. Balance due within7 days.

Many are shocked that I would consider selling this vehicle as its been in my family for approximately 35 years. I’ve recently had a truck accident and find it challenging to drive a car with a clutch. Unfortunately its time to let the ’64 Vette go. This car could be driven to its new home or trailered, your choice! Thanks for your interest and a trade is welcome, but I need an automatic, maybe a 2005 or newer Corvette...what do you have to trade?
