1940 Chevrolet Coupe Additional Info:

This is a 1940 Chevy Coupe on a 1992 Chevy S-10 pickup. Built a couple of years ago. 40 Chevy coupe body is lowered one foot over frame. Floorwas made of steel rods for support with sheet metal bent in place brazed in and it is strong. New safety glass was installed for wind shield with center butt together center wind shield post was removed.Rear side windows also installed with safety glass. Rear window is lexalite. Body was placed over existing truck bed. Floor and trunk is carpeted.S-10 dash is in place and works through S-10 wires and computer. Engine is 4.3 V6 with 700 R 4 trans. Power steering, power front disc brakes. Shifter for trans is the handle out side drivers window. Emergency brake and seat belts. Car is fast and will run down the high way at 80 MPH straight with no problem. Doors are held shut with garage door latches. Outside door handles are brass door nobs from my house.Cadillac air cleaner retro fit over S-10 air cleaner. Radiator is a 1954 Packard. Radiator grill guard is 1929 Studebaker. Front bumper is a wrench. Back bumper is a 1955 Packard cut down with ends on backwards. Exhaust comes out theside and exhaust tips out back are stainless and are just for looks. This Coupe is one of a kind and gets lots of looks and people take pictures all the time. Any questions just ask.
