1968 Chevelle SS with L78 375 HP 396

1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Additional Info:

1968 L78 Chevelle SS with 375 HP 396 Engine bored over .040. This car has a rebuilt engine (non-matching # under 5K miles), a newly rebuilt Muncie 4 speed, a newly rebuilt 12 bolt 3:55 posi rear end (replaced the 3:23 non-posi), and a nice interior with no rips. The driver's side door was missing some interior parts but I have purchased new interior door parts including handles (as seen in pics). All parts in the pics still need to be installed. Undercoating has been applied to the car as well. I also bought new exterior moulding, trunk mat, dome light cover, 396 trim piece to go above glove box, 396 side fender markers, and new pedals as shown. The car needs paint (only the outside was painted blue - under the hood and under rear trunk the paint is different color) and a little body work but overall the car is very solid.The engine paint wasn't applied very well and is flaking off in some spots. The passenger door does not open, the wiper motor needs to be replaced and it needs a radio. The engine has the steel crankshaft, an aggressive camshaft, a four boltmain, original GM high rise manifold and a new holley carburetor. I also verified engine block number and it is correct. I don't have enough money tofinish either of my classics unless I sell one.I am keeping my 68 Mustang because I had one in high school. This Chevelle has a lot of power and should make a great driver for someone. My mechanic verified the 4 bolt main and also the new rebuild condition of the drive train - and he installed newly rebuilt rear posi and axle shafts.
