1984 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

Up for bid is my 1984 Chevy C-10 Custom Deluxe which I have owned for many years. The truck has 161k miles. The truck is unmolested and mostly as it was new except for the J.C.Whitney carpet (not show quality). The interior is clean, no bad smells. The seat upholstery is the original showing only minor wear. The dash has the ubiquitous cracking. The factory A/C blows COLD and the factory am/fm stereo radio works well.
The body is solid as is the cab floor and bed. There is only one small rust through near the passenger door sill (see pic). There is some other minor surface rust which I have touched up with POR15 as prevention.
Under the hood is a 5.0 4v engine which runs like a top. Everything under the hood a pretty much as it was when new. I have installed a rebuilt carburetor, starter, battery and a while back the a/c was updated with new condenser, drier and compressor.
The three speed automatic transmission is solid and works exactly as it should as do the Power steering and Power brakes. The exhaust system is good and the tires are knee deep.
The only issues are the parking brake does not stay engaged when the pedal is pushed down, the horn does not work and the valve covers leak some.
If you are looking for a solid old truck that is reliable and fun to own this might be it. There aren't many this solid left.
I have tried to describe as best I can think of. If you have any more question feel free to contact me.
This truck is can to be driven anywhere. Thanks for looking. Note: The right front fender is not rusted. The previous owner apparently wet sanded that spot for what ever reason and has looked like that since I have owned it. 16 years.
UPDATE: 7/24/16..I am adding a couple of pictures of the cab floor (I have to delete a couple of pictures of the tires and engine compartment) When I purchased the truck it had the original rubber "carpet" which causes the floor to sweat, thus rust. I removed the carpet and cleaned and touched up any surface rust with POR15. Then I installed a loose fitting aftermarket carpet. The floor looks as it did 16 years ago as you can see in the pictures the floor is very solid.
