I received an inquiry regarding the originality of the cowl induction hood. First, allow me to state that the cowl induction hood was on the car when my father acquired the car approximately 12 years ago. After searching online, it would appear that the hood is not original to the car. The cowl induction hood was known as the ZL2 option and I do not see that on the build sheet. Therefore, this car likely came with the domed hood. Note however, that this car did come with the D88 stripe option. "Please click here here (and scroll about half way down) for a more thorough discussion of the ZL2 option along with photos of the ZL2 and domed hoods."
