1968 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Additional Info:

If you are looking for a really fun hot rod that you can convince your wife that you NEED, this might be the truck for you. If you want a cool daily driver, this also might be for you. If you love vintage but want a truck that can haul mulch, lumber, this might be for you as well. I cannot stress enough how excellent this truck runs - starts with a bump of the key hot or cold thanks to a perfectly working electric choke. Fun to drive with a REAL 4 speed, not that awful truck tranny with the granny for first and a second that is too big to take off on a hill. I have a clean, blank title for this truck so no issues for the buyer....

This solid southern truck has under 66,000 miles, believed to be original, I have no proof but looking at the pedals and steering wheel and driving it I would say that is correct.Clean original floors, body, and frame. This is a CE VIN truck indicating factory V-8 (E=eight). the original 327 upgraded with a performer intake and a 4-barrel Edelbrock with an electric choke it has lots of power. Feeding through an M-21 4-speed from a 1968 Chevelle and into a 12-bolt posi rear end this truck really moves! I don't know the gearing but it cruises very comfortably at highway speeds. True dual exhaust is the perfect amount of loud without being obnoxious and had manifolds instead of headers so you won't be chasing leaks all the time. Effortless power steering and a smooth ride with great brakes make it something I would drive anywhere, any time. This is the most reliable vintage vehicle I have ever owned - it's a wonderful truck in every way.

New rally rims and new tires - 235/70R15 on the front and gorgeous fat drag radials 30x12.00R15LT on the rear. NEW!.Beautiful driver quality paint and a beautifully re-done bed mean you get a lot of attention and smiles from everyone. Bed stake pockets welded closed and smoothed for a subtle custom touch - clean look. Thumbs up everywhere you go. People LOVE this truck. Take it to cruise night and hold your head up high - it's that nice - but not so perfect you won't take it to the hardware store on Saturday morning.

Glass is beautiful. Interior is very nice except for a rip in the seat below the seating area that you can see in the photos. New carpet. Radio is inop - I never cared. All of the lights work except the front turn signals flash in unison - I never investigated. Rears work fine - I never cared. Wipers work. Horn works. Doors have new seals so they close hard but don't rattle or whistle. Both windows roll up and down but feel a little "gritty" like they need to be lubed. Never a problem, just trying to be honest... oh and the heater core is bypassed so I assume it leaks - never looked at it. Trim is really nice except for the right front eyebrow molding - it is dented - and the rear bumper is original so the chrome has very minor pitting. The front bumper is really nice - might be a replacement or re-chrome?

International bidders welcome. A few years back I sold a custom Corvette to Chris Z. in Sydney Austrailia. All went well and he and I have kept in touch and I am sure he would give me a good reference. I had the same paperwork for that car and they had no problem exporting it.
I would not be selling but I have a chance to buy a steel '41 Willys coupe with a Hemi that I have been trying to buy for more than 10 years... For $100K... Gulp... Check my feedback and buy with confidence. Inspections prior to clicking buy it now are welcome. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow, it has been fully debugged. I will work with your shipper and do everything I can to get it home to you safely.
