This 1977 Blazer Chalet is one of less than 1800 Chalet’s produced during the 1976-1977 model year. Chalet’s were produced on the production line as regular Blazers upon which a “Pop Up” camper shell produced by Chinook Mobilodge was installed.

Blazer Chalet’s were sold new exclusively by Chevrolet dealers. Inside you'll find a propane heater, stove, water tank, sink, and a fridge. Shelves, closets and a removable tabletop round out the furnishings. Chalet’s did not come with a shower or toilet. In short, it's a home away from home for a couple of people for the weekend.

Mechanically this Chalet was loaded with a 350 Engine, Automatic Transmission, 4 Wheel Drive, High/Low Transfer Case, Factory Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Tilt Steering, Cruise Control, Full Gauges, Factory Rally Wheels, Tinted Glass and More. This Chalet has been parked for at least 4 years and therefore Does Not Run or Drive! The truck is mechanically complete with the exception being the factory air cleaner.

The Chalet Fiberglass shell is in good condition and complete with the exception of the rear door. The front and side windows are in nice condition. The rear door is with the Chalet however it is in poor condition and should be replaced. The cook-top and refrigerator are complete along with the removable table that is in the closet. This Chalet has the optional overhead bunk beds. Mileage showing on the truck is 98,000 miles.

The body on the Chalet has its share of rust as shown in the pictures. The front grill is in good condition. Both doors have rust. The rockers have rust along with rust on the rear wheel openings. The rear floor that is typically rusted on most Blazer’s is in good condition on this truck.

This truck will make a great parts donor Chalet for you current Chalet, a Chalet camper shell donor to install on you newer or nicer K5 Blazer or an ambitious restoration Chalet.
