1988 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Additional Info:

You are bidding on an absolute monster, one-of-a-kind truck. A 1988 Step-Side Chevrolet 1500 that takes pro-street to a whole new level. To start off this gorgeous truck started life as a garage queen, it never saw rain, snow, etc and shows as such. Absolutely no rust ever. 4 Years ago the entire truck was taken to what you see now. First the entire truck was back-halved and 4-link set up was installed with monster tires. Next the entire interior was completely redone; lastly the truck was set up with a 6:71 blower that was never installed due to wanting to keep it street friendly. Trust me it still has plenty of power.

To start off the paint is a one-off custom House of Kolors with flames. It was wet sanded and buffed to a mirror finish that will take best paint at any show. New cowl induction hood was just installed. Billet accents throughout the body including the custom billet grille amplify the one off paint job, custom on/off switch where gas cap is. Custom inserts for the exhaust that exit in front of the rear wheel, sounds like a funny car when you start it up. All new headlights and taillights were just installed. The flames are completely cleared over and you cannot feel a line, custom spider webs are airbrushed inside them as well. Everywhere you look this truck is a show winner.

The engine is a fresh 468 Big-Block that was just rebuilt and has about 100 miles on it. The engine was built for a 6:71 blower running 15lbs of boost but given how much power it already has I opted out. Engine is built right with forged eagle crank and rods, J&E Blower pistons. .600 Lift roller camshaft, complete roller valve train. GM Hi-Po heads with extensive port work, edelbrock performer rpm intake for the street. Quick Fuel 850 carburetor. Hooker super competition ceramic coated headers. All new valve covers, and air cleaner assembly. MSD Ignition throughout, including Pro-Billet distributor, MSD wires, built in 6AL rev limiter. Engine is tuned for the street and puts out a conservative 550 Horse, that is more than enough for anything on the street, I warn you this truck is not for the faint of heart. It sounds like an altered at the drag strip with the custom exhaust, and people always look when you pull up. Cooling this beast is a custom 4 row radiator with all new hoses, new high volume water pump, dual electric fans, etc. It never runs over 180 even in rush hour traffic.

Transmission is a rebuilt Turbo 350 built for 1100 Horsepower, all billet internals, 3000 stall convertor. All the goodies, shifts like butter. B&M deep finned transmission pan as well. You name it, the transmission has it installed.

Rear is a complete 12-bolt set up with 4-Link suspension. Coil-overs, Moser 31 Spline Axles, Girdle, Eaton posi unit. Heavy duty bearings and seals. Richmond 4:31 gear to turn those monster tires. Turns about 3000 RPM at 70 so very streetable.

Fuel system is all Barry grant with AN fittings and stainless lines front to rear. Custom 10 gallon fuel cell is mounted in the bed and polished for the shows. Runs off 93 octane just fine.

Interior is completely custom to go along with the rest of the truck. All billet throughout, full phantom auto-meter gauges, b&m pro-bandit shifter. There was one spot in the passenger seat that had a hole in it and I had a patch installed can’t notice it, but just like to mention any small flaw. The speedometer was working fine before the transmission was rebuilt I think it is just the cable. Everything else works, power windows, power locks, all the other gauges, etc. Power windows, power locks, and tilt wheel complete the interior along with a new stereo so you can listen to some tunes while cruising down the highway. New carpet was just installed along with lap belts. All the glass is perfect. New carbon fiber Grant steering wheel was just installed. All the A/C controls are there and still work so could easily be installed if the new owner prefers.

Custom Alligator bed cover really sets the truck off at the show. Custom Billet Specialties wheels with new tires in the front, rear are about 50%. Suspension was all replaced as mentioned earlier a complete 4-Link rear set up, new tubular control arms in the front. Flaming River steering assembly with complete power steering unit. All new brakes, etc. Every part was replaced or restored at some point on this show truck.

This truck handles like a Corvette believe it or not, it is wicked fast, the only one like it in the world and will turn heads wherever you go. This truck always draws the biggest crowd at any show. The sound alone will set off car alarms going through the parking lots. Everything was built using top of the line parts, it has well over 50K invested into it and you could not replicate it for anything less, the pictures do not even do this truck justice. I have it currently tagged and insured and drive it on a daily basis, truck is super dependable and has very good street manners considering. Any questions call Frank at 863-381-3499 or to schedule an appointment to come look at the truck. Car is sold AS-IS and I have a clear Florida title in my name and I can promise you my cars are as advertised you can look at my feedback I’m very honest. Remember this is a NO RESERVE auction so the high bidder will take this true one of a kind show truck home with a smile on their face the entire time.
