1973 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:

Hard to find "real deal" Z28. Southern car. Owned since 1979 - A real rare “survivor.” A virtually unmodified car with accurate mileage reading. Title in hand.
Garage kept for all but 2 years of its life with me (back in the late 80’s I had a single car carport; room for the wife’s car only). One accident since 1979 (3 months after I got it! Ouch) with the left rear quarter panel replaced when repaired (with GM factory sheet metal). No filler here!
Equipped with Hurst “Indy” Shifter and Hooker Headers when purchased in 1979. Virtually all else is original.
Numbers matching original 350 cubic inch, 4-bolt main engine, M21 four-speed and stock 3.73 positive traction 10 bolt rear end. Never tracked or raced.
Engine rebuilt 10-20K miles ago (installed a LT1 cam, LT1 medium rise aluminum intake, and a 650 cfm Holley carb - the ONLY engine modifications. Original Rochester QuadraJet carb and the factory cast iron intake are included). With the headers, cam, intake, carb, and bigger exhaust, estimated total horsepower now at ~340. Available to have your certified mechanic inspect it prior to purchase.
“Down to the metal” repaint using factory paint code and minor rust repairs ("tulip" panel replaced) in 2008 with original color and racing stripes (painted, smooth/no ridges, racing stripes).
New Thrush complete (from the headers back) exhaust system with the trans-mounted single dual in/out muffler (2.25” pipes throughout).
New wiring (complete OEM wiring harness) in 2009. Wired for stereo during interior installation.
Driveshaft balanced rear end completely serviced 2015.
New Master Brake cylinder 2015 (original included).
New front wheel bearings 2015.
New BF Goodrich (T/A Radial) tires in 2010 about >4K miles ago (including additional tire w/o rim for a spare in the trunk). Disc brakes in the front / drums in the back.
New beauty rings for wheels 2015. Stock 15" X 7" rims.
New glass all the way around at the same time. Good looking (my opinion, but everyone agrees).
New interior in 2014 (changed from Sandalwood to White; white headliner, seats, interior panels. Black carpet and black dash – all new). Original steering wheel and gauges.
New split bumper, fender emblems and reveal moldings 2015. Original stock front bumper available. Rear bumper is original. Some various original trim parts are included.
Minor scratch and ding repair 2015 (by original shop that did repaint in 2008).
Car is a cold runner, but once warmed up it is smooth running and powerful; a real blast to drive.
This car is perfect for anyone wishing to do a frame-off Concours restoration of an all-original specimen of the last of the real muscle cars of the 70’s…. or someone that just would like a driver to enjoy anytime. It was born to be a ‘Vette with room for four. It is. This car drives well and runs like a scalded dog. It is one of the best looking Camaros made (my opinion), the last before the days of plastic bumpers and choking smog control. It goes nowhere that it doesn’t draw a big crowd and lots of compliments. Hate to see it go, but it’s time (daughter in college). Looking for a good home for someone who can appreciate the last of the original American muscle cars…. I have loved and driven it for over 37 years and am now looking for someone else to do the same………. LIMITED TIME!
