Thanks for your patience and understanding legitimate bidders.I have been charged with offering a legitimate barn find vehicle to you for sale. They are only original once. If you want a $20,000-$35,000+ showtruck you should be prepared to recondition this jewel in the proper manner. I will honestly answer any and all questions that you ask. We have a very solid 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne long wheel base pickup for you to consider. The family would like to get $5800 for this truck. Ihave beencharged with finding a new owner and I have the authority to sell this truck. With that said, if you know that you are willing to pay $5800 please letme know and we can set up the buy it now feature for you through Ebay. However, if no one is willing to pay this amount prior to someone bidding on this 1972 Cheyennethe family has agreed to let the high bidder have this truck at the end of the auction. The truck willbe sold. The high bidder gets the truck. You can buy it or bid on it.I have a clean and clear title in my hand. This Cheyenne has some good looking original patina. It has been tucked away for about 7 years in Mcdonough, GA. Prior to that it was driven sparingly. No one remembered why it was parked. When we pulled it out and examined it we found everything was ready to go except for the faulty fuel pump. I installed a new fuel pump, removed the gas tank, drained the old gas, replaced dry rotted fuel lines, had the tank pressure tested and cleaned, replaced the float on the fuelsending unit, and it runs good. The speedometer works properly and the mileage shows 28,593 miles. There is no 6th digit so that is probably 128,593 miles. The interior light and cargo light both work. The seat has a seat cover and the driver sideof the seat has wear. The headliner needs cleaning, but it is intact. The engine has plenty of power and there is no blow by smokecoming from the engine. It has good compression. The transmission shifts just the way it should shift with no slipping. The tires have been on thetruck for awhile. I have driven the truck around and haven't detected any flat spots in the tires, but I have not driven over 50 miles an hour or got on the expressway. The tires look good, but please consider the fact that the tireshave been on the truck for at least 7 years before you try and drive it over 3 hours on a hot day. One of you can drive it as is, use it as a shop truck, build a show truck, or convert it to a short wheel base show truck. It's up to you because I have a very nice starting point for you to consider. If you look at the photos you will see the vehicle's options shown in the glove compartment. It is a C10 with some factory and dealer upgrades. This truck has 5 lug disc brakes with the heavy duty rear end option, a frame mounted tow package was also added, and it has the big chrome rear bumper. That rear bumper would need to be rechromed. I looked everywhere, but I couldn't find the other2 original hubcaps. It does have 4 they just don't all match. It does have 5 matching steel wheels. The seat belts were detected underneath the seat still wrapped in the factory plastic protective covering when the seatwas removed to get the gas tank out of the truck. The truck is equipped with the powertrailer brake actuator inside of the truck. This is an original 350, 4 barrel carburetor(all of the factory placed decals are under the engine compartment area and they are easy to read), equipped with the dealer installed auxiliary fuel tank, 350 automatic transmission, front disc brakes, 12 bolt rear end, and it is a two toneblue and whitetruck. It is a very solid truck. What you see is mostly surface rust. Please see all of the photos. The roof is solid. The truck still has all of the original GMinstalled body panels. There are a few areas that will require some fabrication if you want to keep all of the original body panels. There are small rusted through areas that you could cut out, replace with steel, and repair with good steel. There isn't enough rust to justify replacing any of the full panels unless you just want to do it.That will be your call, but if you media blast these areas they will be fairly simple to repair with a basic mig or tig welder. You can grind the welds and make a good repair. The outer door skins, rockers, and the notorious passenger side front ofthe fender and inner fender(This is the area underneath the battery tray on the front of thepassenger side fender that is usually rusted on these 1967-1972 C10 trucks due to battery acid drips.)The front of the passenger fender and inner fenderis the worst area on this truck. Ihave the front of the fender repair panel from AMD sheetmetal if you want to repair the fender or you can replace it if you want. If you look closely at the photos you will see all of these areas. Please see the photos of the bed. The sides are in great shape with surface rust. Please see the top of the tailgate and bed floor. This is a unmolested vehicle ready for you and your families enjoyment.I will assist you or your transporter at pickup. A deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours after the auction endsvia PayPal, Wal-Mart Money Center, bank wire transfer, etc. Vehicle can be stored for awhile if you need time to make arrangements for pickup. Please only bid if you can finish the transaction. This is a no reserve auction. Thanks for your consideration.
