Up for auction is a very nice 1957 Chevrolet 3100 short bed pickup that was a recipient of a frame off restoration several years ago. This truck is an EXCELLENT driver that runs and drives very very well. it has nice upgrades including vintage air conditioning, power steering with a tilt steering column, power 4-wheel disc brakes with a 9” ford rearend, power windows, shaved door handles with electric poppers (on a key fob). This truck has 15,972 miles on its restoration.

I have identified the blemishes as I walked around the truck through photos. It does have a few dings, road chips here and there, predominately on the hood. There is a few door edge chips and a little damage on the passenger side rear box side which I have also photographed. Besides these typical blemishes the trucks finish is excellent. The paint is older but looks really good. The doors shut perfectly, barley have the give them a nudge.

The bed cover is on hydraulics and opens/closes easily. The inside of the bas is detailed nicely with carpeting which is on top of wood slates which have been painted purple. Inside the front of the box is where the fuel tank and battery is located. The interior is very nice. It has brand new carpeting. The tilt steering wheel is a nice touch. The power windows work well. It turns very easily with the power steering and drives down the road straight with a surprising amount of power. The radio is functional. The chrome is excellent. It appears to have a new grill and front bumper.

The underside is solid and as you can see was painted when the truck was restored years ago.It isn’t detailed to show quality but you can see the truck was off the frame and close attention to detail was paid when it was restored.It is dirty but very solid.This truck came out of Texas and will be sold with a texas title.
