1970 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

I'm selling my 1970 Chevrolet C10 long bed pickup. I've owned this truck for 13 years and put a lot of time and effort into it. I've completed the truck mechanically and it's as solid as when it was new...maybe even better. It could use some paint & body attention, but it's certainly not necessary if you want to use this as a daily driver or are thrilled with a 10 footer. Specs are as follows:
-V8 307 engine with 3 speed auto transmission, Hooker headers.
-Power steering & power brakes (4 wheel slotted & drilled rotors) added in 2008 or so.
-Vintage Air a/c and front runner system added in 2008. Cold air.
-MSD electronic ignition. No distributor or points to worry about here.
-Dual electric radiator fans replaced hydraulic fan in 2008.
-15" American Racing Torq-Thrust II wheels with brand-new Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires.
-CPP lowering kit with drop-spindles front.
-Gas tank relocated from behind the seat to the truck bed.
-Bench seat w/ fold down center-console from '98 Dodge Ram truck.
-New black carpet interior with new Chevy floor mats.
-Glass is perfect and the rubber gaskets have all been replaced.
-Color is Toyota Siena Beige, truck was repainted by previous owner. I've never touched the paint. Passenger side drip rail is showing some rust and probably needs attention at some point. Rest of cab/body is clean.
-Truck bed is rusty but solid, very few spots where bed is rusted through. I've carried furniture, bbq pits, etc. in the bed over the years.
-New fuel pump, new turn signal switch 2 wks ago.
-Truck passed state inspection for new registration a month ago.
There are 85k miles on the odometer, I have no idea if that is accurate or original but my gut tells me it is. Transmission shifts beautifully, engine cranks every time. No runs, drips, or leaks of any kind. I replaced all fluids and went through engine and transmission less than 500 miles/1 month ago. I've been daily driving this truck for the last month plus....when I bought it, I drove it from Dallas to West Palm Beach, FL straight through with absolutely no issues. This has always been a solid, dependable truck. I believe this would be a great truck for a father/teenager project because it's dependable, easy to work on, and there's a solid base to work from...
I have many extra parts that I've bought that I've never put on the truck that will convey with the sale. These items are:
-New tailgate w/ new tailgate handle. Ready for paint and installation. Cheap/easy project.
-One-piece window kit w/ new glass for the doors. This replaces the triangle vent window with one-solid piece of glass.
-New Blaupunkt stereo head unit, kick panel speakers & custom box/mounts.
-New driver & passenger mirrors & stalks/mounts.
-New front suspension & engine mount nylon bushings. When I had the front-end apart adding the a/c, front runner kit, dropped spindles, and front discs...the original bushings were in fabulous shape so me and the shop decided not to replace. I planned on returning the bushing kit to CPP but never got around to it.
Thanks for looking at my truck. I hate to see it go but I've already purchased a new project and this one has to go. Serious inquiries only. Please do your research and you'll find prices for these trucks in good shape are rising rapidly.
