1994 Chevrolet S-10 Additional Info:

This truck is an original California truck that has been in the family for 17 yrs, and a few years ago we did virtually a complete restoration on the truck and incorporated many upgrades. The frame & suspension parts were treated with a rust converter and then painted black. Front clip was replaced with a 98+ model. The 4.3 Vortec engine and 4L60E transmission were completely rebuilt by professionals at local shops. Steering/suspension components were replaced and Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings were used. Truck was lowered 2/3 with a Belltech kit. Brakes were upgraded to 4-wheel disc by installing the dual piston caliper front setup and complete rear axle assembly from a 2002 Blazer that had only 25k miles on it at the time. Wheels are GM "SS" style 16x8 with 225/60/16 up front and 275/55/16 in the rear. Tires have good tread left. Interior was swapped out with bucket seats and center console also from a Blazer. A two-tone gray/black theme is incorporated. Truck came factory equipped with a tilt wheel, cruise control, and cluster tach. The vehicle currently has a stock AM/FM but is now wired with audio cables to the rear of the cab including a 4ga power cable from the battery for your killer sound system to be installed. Dash has two switches installed so you bypass the dome light and chime. Also, a wiring harness has been installed through the dash and into both doors to convert to power windows and locks (door components are included but need installed). Courtesy lamps and 3rd brake light have been converted to LED. A Flex-A-Lite temperature controlled cooling fan and brand new AC Delco radiator with a 180 thermostat keeps her running cool. A cooling fan was also added to the Accel billet distributor to prolong the life of the ignition module. Plug wires are MSD 8.5mm. Engine is completely stock, and the following items were also replaced at time of rebuild: P/S pump, water pump, starter, TPS, IAC, coil, belt and tensioner, pulleys, hoses, heater core, fuel pump and fuel injector spider. Even the engine wiring harness was re-wrapped in new nylon tubing and the correct harness tape. The automatic transmission features a stage II shift kit for firm shifts and a slightly higher stall torque converter. Driveline got new u-joints and carrier bearing. Exhaust received a Magnaflow cat and an aftermarket muffler with a nice low note. Truck has a fiberglass tonneau cover with new struts, a receiver hitch and air shocks so you can tow or haul your toys in the rear. I'm sure there may be features i'm forgetting, but you can see the depth of time and money that has been invested in this truck (over $10k). Truck drives good, a little stiffer suspension, but the handling/stopping is superior. The internally stock 4.3 is not a "hot rod" but the truck sure looks like one!
The only known issues at this time are the following: A new A/C compressor was recently installed when we replaced the radiator, but the rest of the new A/C components have not been installed. They are included (along with several other spare parts) but the installation needs to be completed to have functional A/C. Also, one of the oil cooler lines is just starting to weep where the rubber is crimped into the metal line, and may need to be replaced if it gets worse. and finally the parking brake cable may need to be reworked or adjusted, as the pedal goes all the way to the floor when setting the parking brake. Other than that, you should get a lot of life out of this vehicle with all the major components having only 38,000 miles or less on them (body/original equipment/cluster shows 198k miles). However, as with any used vehicle NO warranty implied or expressed is given, and I would encourage you to inspect and test drive before purchase.
The vehicle has a clear and clean Washington State title, passed an emissions test last year, and is currently registered until 09/2016. I am selling this for my son, who is entering the military soon and has no place to store the vehicle. The buyer is responsible for pickup or shipment WITHIN 10 DAYS. IF YOU CANNOT MAKE PAYMENT AND ARRANGE PICKUP IN SHORT ORDER DO NOT BID.VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN SPOKANE, WA. AND IS LISTED FOR SALE LOCALLY. AUCTION IS SUBJECT TO END EARLY IF A SALE IS MADE BEFORE ACCEPTING AN OFFER ON EBAY.
