The car is mostly complete and was actually pulled from a barn where it had been sitting for over 10 years. It is a 6 cylinder engine with manual 3 speed in the floor. I have not tried to start the engine, I had no interest in keeping the 6 in it.
The car is solid in the hardest to repair sections (frame rails and cowl seem really solid) but does need a good amount of sheet metal work.
The front fenders both have rust and dents, driver's side would be repairable but I would definitely recommend a new or better used passenger fender.
Doors are both solid with no real rust that I can see, although the passenger size does have some damage and will need dent repair or a new skin.
Rockers are very solid but passenger side has a dent that will need pulled.
Both rear quarter panels will need replacement
Floor pans will need replaced or patched along with trunk pan
The car was a vinyl top car, so the rear window area is the worst part on the car. Roof skin itself actually isn't too bad.
Hood is very nice flat hood.
Trunk lid is very good condition other than a dent that can be pulled out
Radiator core support could be reused along with the inner front fenders
Subframe and rear frame rails all appear straight and no serious structural rust. I replaced a tie rod on the drivers side due to it being broke when they moved it to the barn.
The car has factory tinted glass and the rear glass is included. May need a new windshield due to some streaks from the wipers, but they may polish out.
All of the seat belts are accounted for but are old and will need a good cleaning or replacement.
The bucket seats and rear seats are there but of course need restored.
What's left of the door panels are still with the car but are pretty much trash.
No radio but dash isn't hacked up.
Please check out the picture link at the beginning of the description for alot more pictures. I will also probably be adding more to that link. I have the car up on the car trailer for moving around and can get a picture of anything needed.
This would be a great car for a pro-touring or all out build. It's solid in the core and what's rusty is what normally gets replaced in a restoration or higher caliber build anyway.
The only major thing that I know the car is missing is the trim for the outside of the rear window and the drivers side rear brake light. It may be missing some smaller odds and ends here and there but those are the 2 biggest that I can recall.
The car has a clear NC title that matches the car. Please ask any questions before bidding.
Please have your pick up or shipping arrangements settled before bidding.
The car DOES NOT RUN which will make it harder to find a shipping company to work with.
If you are somewhat local and want to take a look at the car, just message me and we will set something up. I try to be as detailed as possible with my ad but I know seeing it in person is a;ways better.
The car or title will not leave my possession until it is paid in full! Cash is best if you are coming to pick the car up yourself. I am also fine with a certified bank check or wire transfer if you are having the car shipped, but funds must clear my bank before car and title will be released.
