1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:

Let me start off to say I have 30 muscle car projects, 17 Chevelle's alone and have realized that I will never finish every one so started bringing them in and taking them to a level that many people can finish...This is a 68 Chevelle SS convertible project I bought out of Jersey back in 2017. When it arrived I realized condition was no where what it showed in pictures or what I was told... The frame was good, trunk lid, rockers and front fenders, were the only good parts. Two years later after licking my wounds for that time I brought it in cut out everything from front of rear seat back and started the rebuild. New one piece trunk pan, both trunk floor extensions, new inner and outer rear wheel houses (had to use 70 Conv. inners as 68 were not available, they fit fine and new outers.... Installed new quarter skins from a coupe as conv. are again not available plus new pan under rear seat and third floor brace. I stayed a few inches from the top of the quarter as the conv. has a different roll at the top then the coupe. I purchased a very nice pair of doors from a guy in upstate N.Y. who stored them away years ago, installed them, another radiator support with grill and nice original hood then the car went back into storage. A week ago I pulled it back in, cut out the floors and braces and installed new ones, ran out of gas on the welder today (New Years day) or all welding would be finished. I have a fresh rebuilt 1968 396 big block that comes with the car and will be set in place be for the car leaves. I DID NOT INSTALL THE MOTOR AS A WHILE BACK BE FOR I INSTALLED THE NEW FLOORS I LISTED IT ON FACE BOOK AND HAD MANY PEOPLE WANT IT CHEAPER WITHOUT THE MOTOR...... I will be welding bucket seat brackets in the floors and the correct rear seat brackets. Car comes with front buckets, rear conv. seat and a bunch other parts like trim, front bumper and more.. This is a project that needs finishing and if it doesn't sell will go back in storage and will get finished in the future.. The last few pictures are of a 69 SS (rebuilt 454 with factory bench seat 4 speed) that I was working on and will get it up and running. This will also be listed here on ebay as a project in a couple weeks.... It will be listed at the same price as this one.... Any more questions call me at 603 617 6160...
