About this vehicleRelisted due to buyer fell through. This 1961 Chevrolet Corvair is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for car shows.Seller's NotesDo not miss out on this one. I hate to see it go.Vehicle DetailsThis Corvair is like a time capsule. It runs like a sewing machine, cranking everytime. I had the motor and transmission rebuilt. All rubber replaced. New brakes and shocks. New fuel tank and lines. Everything was gone through and replaced if needed. There are no oil leaks even! I would drive this car anywhere. It is original and has some wear on paint but it looks fantastic regardless. No rust with the exception of a repaired passenger floorboard and a few various surface spots. Garage kept. Nice retro stereo installed with a slim line woofer under the seat. It has some original era accessories like the sun visor, luggage rack, and tissue dispenser.
