1979 Chevrolet Z-28
Up for grabs is my 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28. This Z has been carefully restored to it's formerglory with some tastefulupgrades. Almost every single piece of this car has been reconditioned into what you see today. The original 350 has been upgraded .30 over with flat top pistons, 1.94 valves and a mild hydrauliccamshaft,Edelbrock performerintak, original Rochester 4bbl carb has been rebuilt as well as the distributor. Still has it's original T-10 4sp transmission that has been rebuilt with a new clutch as well. All new 2.5inch dual exhaust with headers. These improvementgive this Z just enough of a horse power gain to make it drive like it should have from the factory and sound great!! All of the suspension front and back have been rebuilt as well as new brakes . The bottom of the car is very sanitary as you can see in the pics. The body is in exceptional condition. As I am sure most of you know a lot of these cars did not survive the 80's!! All original G.M panels with zero rust. The care has been painted back to it's original bright yellow in a base clear that looks ten times better then the factory original paint job when it was new. All the factory Z-28 package stripes were re installed as well for that original look that brings ya back to 1979!! Sit's on it's original Z-28 wheels that have been color matched with like new BFG tires. The interior has been mostly 95% restored with all new seat covers,door panels,carpet and headliner. The dash has a few small cracks but shows well for a driver as does the console lid. Still has it's factory tach and 130mph speedo . Has tilt wheel,factory radio ect. The interior could use some minor upgrades to be 110% but shows very well as is.Everything works as it should on this Z!! The doors close nicely as does the trunk and hood. One step of the gas pedal and this car comes right to life!! The car has a very low 520 miles since being restored. It is a absoluteblast to drive. This is a true turn key go have fun car that you can be proud to take to the local car shows and cruises!! You can see from the pics the amount of detail that went into bringing this old Z-28 back to life. The car is obviouslyalways stored inside and taken care of. These Z's have been on a constant rise in value with the first generation Camaro's pushing triple digits in some cases.
