1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE COUPE

Offered for your consideration is a 1970 Chevelle Coupe project car.

This vehicle started life as a Malibu coupe built in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.

Please note that the car is considered a project car which is about 60% complete.

This vehicle comes with some brand-new sheet metal that has been placed in or on the car but it still requires some finishing body work. The new sheet metal includes the roof skin, two front fenders, two rear quarters, hood, floor and trunk pans. The vehicle does not come with a motor or transmission or drivetrain components of any kind.

I do have a ZZ454 crate motor available for extra funds. This motor is NOT included in the auction price but it is available separately for purchase. This motor can be seen in one of the last pictures. It retails in the USA for approximately $7,800 USD. The winning bidder of the auction will have the first right to purchase this motor if they wish.

Other car parts that come with the project include front and rear bumper, new grille, rear seats, front bench seat (in need of re-upholstery), sweep style dash, fender extensions, headlight bezels, brand new Chevy rally wheels and a few decals any Chevrolet components.

This auction is for the car in its present condition at about 60% completion.

I took time to carefully describe the car and include a substantial number of photos. However, it is very important to keep in mind that this vehicle is 50 years old. After carefully reading the entire description, rather than making a potentially incorrect assumption, if any statement or comment is unclear, or if you have questions, please e-mail or call me prior to bidding. I reserve the right to sell this vehicle locally prior to the end of any advertisement or listing.
AT CLOSE OF AUCTION
The successful "winning" bidder must telephone me at (905) 933-8119 within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction. $1,000.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is due within 48 Hours of auction end. Full payment must be received within 5 business days of the end of auction. Payment must made by bank wire transfer only. If the funds are not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis. The parties agree that this contract shall be construed under the substantive laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, that the Provincial Court of Ontario, Canada shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action brought to enforce the terms of this contract or over any action arising out of the underlying transaction(s) with seller and venue may be had in the Ontario Superior Court of the Province of Ontario.
I have disclosed as much information as possible about this vehicle. However, I recommend that all buyers conduct an inspection either in person or through a qualified professional third party inspector prior to the end of the auction. If such inspection reveals a substantial discrepancy between the information contained in the listing and the actual vehicle, we will correct the problem or work out a compromise.
I will assist with shipping arrangements however, the buyer pays all shipping costs. The vehicle is located and will ship from Welland, Ontario, Canada. I do not have any affiliation with, or interest in, any transportation companies and all questions or concerns should be addressed directly with them.
