1936 Chevrolet Standard Additional Info:

Just found. 1936 Chevrolet Standard 2 door. 6 cylinder, 3 speed, Odometer shows 62,524 miles. Looks to be wearing it's original paint with a few touch ups. The car spent most it's life in sunny dry Arizona. Car looks to be all original including the interior. The headliner is coming down but that's to be expected, It is 84 years old. No bad rust to speak of other than your normal surface rust and a few small pinholes on the rear part of the drivers side front fender. The original wood battery cover is still present and in great condition. Car is very straight and the painted factory pinstripes are still present. Iput a new battery in the car, Drained the fuel tank and blew out all the fuel lines all the way to the carburetor. Pulled the top of the carburetor and cleaned out the fuel bowl. The fuel pump leaks so it will need a new or rebuilt the original one on the car. I hooked up a electric fuel pump to a gas can to the carburetor and it fired right up and purrs like a kitten in a milk parlor!!!! No noises or smoke, generator works as does the gauge in the dash. Oil pressure gauge works also along with the lights and horn!!!! The clutch works fine and goes through all the gears. No signs of and leaks other than normal seepage from being almost 85 years old. The brakes are down and will need to be looked at before it will be able to be driven around. The tires will also need replaced if you plan on getting it road worthy. I'm sure I don't need to say this but it will need all fluids changed and looked over before you even think for taking any sort of drive with it. It has been off the road since 2005 and in dry storage up until a few weeks ago. I'm sure whoever is the high bidder with be happy with this hard to find gem. This is the first year for the steel door cars also and this is a steel door car. I also have a title for the car too.
