Purchased from the 96 year old gentleman who bought it brand new in June of 1979. Cab is like new inside, vinyl seat has a few cracks. Dash is perfect. Everything works even the factory cruise control and air conditioning. Has dual tanks, 350 4 bolt main engine that still retains GM belts on it. Turbo 400 transmission and 4.10 gears. Comes with original owners manual, factory recall paper work on fan blades from GM and the original assembly line build sheet. Runs and drives good. Has typical lower body rust with the worst around the drivers box side. Always had a topper on it which I removed. True barn find and hard to find this original and low miles. I have had a ton of interest and enjoyed answering all of your questions on this 79 Scottsdale K20 pickup. 46,797 actual original one owner miles. Factory AC, Cruise, Dome light, Dual tanks, No Tilt. 12,000 GCW is the highest rating I've ever seen on a 3/4 ton single wheel four wheel drive with the Trailering Special option. Full time four wheel drive all original NP 203 transfer case with hi and low lock. Original wheels and hub caps. The original 8.75x16.5 tires were replaced by the original owner due to age/use. But the replacements are the same size. As stated above and as several pictures show. The truck does have lower body rust/scale. Underside of cab and floor pans are solid. I can send additional pics. It appears like some of the metal wasn't primed/prepped well by the factory when the factory painted it. Which wasn't uncommon during some of those years. We had a 1976 that was repainted not long after being purchased new. The factory assembly line inspection marking/initials are still on the edge of one valve cover and under the hood. Once warmed up, the truck starts just by reaching in and turning the key. If the truck sits for a while several days, you have to pump it quite a bit. Factory Mariner Blue with White Cab Roof. Thanks Again and Good Luck.
